Update as of 4/02/2020
As the coronavirus impacts our way of life and presents unprecedented challenges, Phred Instruments is working to ensure our business practices serve our customers, our vendors, our guitar techs and our community as best as we can under these trying circumstances.
The coronavirus began to impact Phred Instruments in January 2020, with the closures of our production factories overseas. As of the first week of March 2020, production on Phred guitars has resumed overseas. You can view the production schedule update here.
As of March 2020, Los Angeles issued a Shelter in Place order, and have asked non-essential businesses to temporarily stop conducting business and work from home, if possible. My guitar techs and I have set up temporary workshops in our homes to continue working on your guitar orders and ensure that you will get your guitar with the least amount of delay as possible.
We are experiencing additional delays because some of our US vendors have temporarily closed and are not shipping parts at this time. Therefore we are having to source some parts from new locations that may take longer to receive than usual.
As the coronavirus continues to impact our way of life, our focus is the health and safety of our customers, and our techs. To that extent, we want to let you know that, per usual, we are all wearing protective facemasks and gloves while we work on your guitars.
Because of the adjustments we are making due to the coronavirus, it might take us longer than normal to respond to your emails and voicemails. Email is the preferred method of communication at this time.
Thank you so much for your patience and understanding and support during this unprecedented time.
Please stay safe and healthy.
