Update as of 4/26/2021
As the coronavirus continues to impact our way of life and presents unprecedented challenges, Phred Instruments is working to ensure our business practices serve our customers, our vendors, our guitar techs and our community as best as we can under these trying circumstances.
The coronavirus began to impact Phred Instruments in January 2020, with the closures of our production factories overseas. As of the first week of March 2020, production on Phred guitars has resumed overseas. You can view the production schedule updates here.
As of April 26, 2021, there are multiple production runs occurring simultaneously. Some are completed and in transit to our workshop, some are close to being completed, some are in the middle of production, and some are just getting started.
As of April 2021, we are still experiencing additional delays in receiving certain parts to fulfill orders, as some of our US vendors are backlogged on production runs and/or shipping parts. Therefore, we are sourcing some parts from new locations, which may take longer to receive than usual.
My guitar techs and I continue to work from our respective workshops, allowing us to safely continue working on your guitar orders, and ensure that you will get your guitar with the least amount of delay as possible. To that extent, we want to let you know that, per usual, we are all wearing protective facemasks and gloves while we work on your guitars.
Because of the adjustments we are making due to the coronavirus, it might take us longer than normal to respond to your emails and voicemails. Email is the preferred method of communication at this time.
Thank you so much for your patience and understanding and support during this unprecedented time.
Please stay safe and healthy.
